The CD includes favourite verses from my
books and also some new, previously unpublished ones.
There are 56 tracks in three sections : Angels, Inspirational
and Nature

For many people Nature offers
a time of tranquillity and relief from stress. Many of the verses
are from my book Grass Roots and Gentle Breezes, which is currently
out of print. The music is from Charles Timberlake's CD 'Wings
of an Eagle'; I am very grateful for his permission. Some of
the verses are read by Liz Lenten.

This CD is dedicated to my late grandfather
Bill Herd, whose love of Nature and gentleness of spirit meant
so much during his life and inspired me to write after he passed
on. The music has been chosen to complement the words spoken.

Many of these verses are short
and simple thoughts for quiet moments of reflection. Charles
Timberlake has kindly given permission for me to use his gentle
piano music on this CD, which enhances the verses and encourages
relaxation

Many of these verses were first
published in my book, ' Angels'. I feel the music provided by
Liz and Wan at Scarlet Recording Studio offers an ethereal quality
to my words. The verses offer understanding and comfort for
those experiencing bereavement or difficult times
|
This CD offers the opportunity to listen
to verses that remind you - you are never alone. If
you have lost someone close to you verses like ' Angels of the
Night’ will offer comfort and reassurance, whilst ' Smiling
Angels' is there to remind us our loved ones wouldn't want us
to be unhappy.

Track 1 on this CD was written
for a young woman I met at GFS Platform, during writing work-shops
there. The women eventually published their own book of verse
and had a book launch, where they read to a large audience.
They were amazing ! This CD is for all women who spend their
lives caring for others nd might need a little reassurance and
support themselves.
Once again I feel Liz Lenten's haunting lyrics give the CD more
depth and meaning and I am very grateful for her allowing me
to use it and Wan for making it possible.

Inspirational Words for Women With Soul
has Liz Lenten's beautiful vocals in the back-ground and looks
at all the roles women take on each day, suggesting ideas for
improving confidence and self- esteem. I have worked with women
over many years and studied ' The Changing Experience of Women'
with the OU in the 1980's, where I discovered my desire to write
for women at the UEA Summer School. Although there are a couple
of light-hearted verses, the CD also includes support during
traumatic times.

A light -hearted look at growing
up in Lincolnshire in the 50's and 60's. This CD of verse has
music by Country Company. I met them in Suffolk and they kindly
gave their permission for me to use their sounds of the 60's
and other tracks. There are two CDs, which stand alone or can
be used as a set. Cd 1 looks at growing up in Lincolnshire in
the 1950's; school-days, friends, tin baths, etc.

Looks at the Swinging 60's in Lincolnshire,
village dances, fashion, music and visiting Boston and Skegness
for days out and nights at the Gliderdrome and The Embassy and
other venues. ! Country Company's music brings the memories
to life and I hope these CDs make you smile and remember happy
times of your own.

My son has had an incredibly hard start
in life ; born premature he suffered a brain haemorrhage , resulting
in hydrocephalus and cerebal palsy . His great determination
and courage is what inspires me to write . My greatest achievement
is ' My Son ; My Saviour'...I had never written poetry before
I met Annette , she told me to think about something close to
my heart ...without Annette I wouldn't be writing today ..

I am very pleased I found you yesterday at the 20th Anniversary
of 'Share the Care' . Your book ' Falling Leaves and Poppies
; 60 Years and Beyond is fascinating to say the least . You
have certainly captured the sombre mood of the exhibition and
the reverence of the chapel at the Aviation Heritage Centre
. I am sure the Panton Brothers will also be pleased with the
completed book based on East Kirkby
